Seasons of Book Blogging Tag

Hello, bookworms! I hope you are all enjoying the last hours of 2016 because we now can say goodbye to this very rude year...

Anyway, on Wordpress, I was tagged by Cristina from My Tiny Obsessions to do the Seasons of Book Blogging Tag! Thank you very much, Cristina!

Here's how it works:
  • Thank the creator (so she can see all of your answers!) and the person who tagged you.
  • Begin with the month in which you have been tagged and move forward from there!
  • State the best gift you’ve ever been given after you answer the question for your birthday month.
  • Tag whomever you’d like when you’re finished.. or else you’ll be “it” forever.
  • Have fun, of course!

So, thank you, J.Bookish, for creating this lovely tag!
Now, let's do this!

  • December is a time when friends and families come together and celebrate. Name one book you would give as a gift.
Of course that I would give Harry Potter and the Philsopher's Stone as a gift!!!

  • January begins a new year. Name a resolution you made this year and if you’ve kept it or not.
I set as my Goodreads goal 50 books when 2016. Then, I thought it would be impossible because it was on my 2nd semester of my first year as a college student and I knew that I would barely read this summer because I had people staying at my house, so I changed it for 35. Did I keep it? No, I didn't... I only read 24 books this year.... I feel so disappointed.

  • February is the month for relationships. Name your favourite book relationship: romantic, platonic or familial- your choice!
I really loved the familial relationship between Noah and Jude from I'll Give You the Sun, by Jandy Nelson. I loved how they overcame their problems together, even though they weren't really close for some years. But I am glad that, in the end, they started to understand each other's hearts.

  • March is the month for luck and new beginnings. Name a book or series that you would like to re-experience as if you’d never read it.
Let's not repeat Harry Potter, ok (LOL)? Well, I would like to re-experience The Hunger Games trilogy! Actually, I only read it once. I should read it again in 2017. Why not?

  • April is a spectacularly ordinary month. Name a book that was so over-hyped that it just could not live up to your expectations.
Everyone seems to love The Tiger's Curse series by Colleen Houck, but I really hated it... It has too many issues and I still don't get how many people love this series...

  • May is the month where flowers start to bloom. Name a book that was a pleasant surprise to you.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone, by Laini Taylor, was indeed a pleasant surprise! I loved Laini's writing because it's very poetic and beautiful. I also loved the world she created.

  • June is the time to take a break. Name a book or genre you like to read when you just need to check out.
YA Contemporary is a good genre for when I just want a light read!

  • July is the time to celebrate your independence! Name a book that made you see fireworks.
Eleanor & Park made me giggle and, therefore, I saw fireworks of happiness. However, it has some sad moments. But still... I giggled! I really did!

  • August is the hottest month of the year. Pick an up-and-coming author that you think will be the next hottest thing.
I have no idea...

  • September is the time for students to go back to school! Pick a book you read for school that you actually enjoyed.
I had to read Frankenstein for my second semester of college and I really enjoyed! Mary Shelley is truly a Queen!

  • October is a time to celebrate halloween! Pick one character that you would love to dress up as for halloween.
I would like to dress as Hermione Granger of course!

  • November is the month when we’re reminded of how much we have to be thankful for. Choose one book you’re grateful for having read and give a shout-out to the person who recommended it!
I don't want to mention Harry Potter again, so I chose The Diary of a Young Girl, by Anne Frank. I read it when I was 13, 14 and it was probably my first non-fiction read and it opened my eyes, for sure. Anne Frank is an inspiration, no doubt.

Yayyyy! It's over! Let's see who I tag:

That's it for now, guys! See yaaaaa!!!
